My doctoral dissertation was accepted by the San Francisco Theological Seminary in March 2019. I received my M.A. in Pastoral Care from Fordham University, my B.A. in Religious Studies from Marylhurst University, and am certified in death, dying and bereavement by The Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC), and in trauma support by The International Association of Trauma Professionals (IATP). I'm also the author of three books on death and grief, and have extensive experience as an educator/workshop facilitator, and in supporting the dying and the bereaved in both group and one-on-one settings.
